Join us for worship that day on the lawn to the north, with bluegrassy-folksy music led by Steve Abenth and friends. AND BRING YOUR BIKES! Bicycles, tricycles, unicycles, scooters, rollerblades…whatever wheels you get around on during the warmer months, we’ll bless them during worship!
Sunday, August 2 – 9:00-10:30am, and during coffee hour
Bead artistry of the Masai women of Tanzania: traditional jewelry, along with key chains, zipper pulls and ornaments. All proceeds will go to the Naapok Bead Project which provides a group of 60 women with a small regular income. It’s a great opportunity to support people who are doing their very best to help themselves, doing what they know how to do. Cash and checks are accepted. Prices range from $3 to $20.
I feel extremely fortunate to have grown up at Grace University Lutheran Church. I feel like it’s my second home, and you all are extended family. With that being said, Steve and I would love to invite you to our 3 pm wedding ceremony and ice cream social on August 22nd at Grace. We will also have a pick-up choir sing at the ceremony—if you are interested in that please let me know at email@example.com. For more information about the ceremony please visit our website at theknot.com/us/siriandsteve and if we are lucky enough to have you join us, please RSVP (so we know how much ice cream to get!) at goo.gl/forms/UuJi0C8IR6. —Siri Garnaas & Steve Schacht
