When Grace added onto it’s building in 2005, the small plot to the south was marked to become a Peace Garden. Grace members volunteered to design, plant and maintain the garden, and eventually benches, a fountain and a prayer box were added. During warmer months, visitors seek out the garden for respite among the brick-and-business landscape: birds and children splash in the fountain, hospital workers take a coffee break or eat their lunch, family and friends of patients submit prayers of hope or thanksgiving for our congregation to include in worship or our prayer chain, and photographers capture sunshine on a tulip… Our hope continues to be that all who enter will find a measure of peace, a moment of connection, or refreshment and revival. Peace to all who enter.
